Order & Quote Entry System

  1. New Fields added to report-The following fields have been added to the Open Orders Ship Schedule report: Customer Name, Days Can Ship Early, Internal Comment, Requested Date. The Open Orders Ship Schedule Report is located in Order & Quote Entry System, Order Reports, Scheduling & Expediting Reports, Shipping Schedules by Customer, Open Orders Ship Schedule Inquiry
  2. New Fields added to report-The following fields have been added to the Open Orders by Order Number report: Payment Terms, Name Signed, Signature Time, Signature Type. The Open Orders by Order Number report is located in Order & Quote Entry System, Order Reports, Open Order Reports, Open Orders by Order Number
  3. New Option- There is now an option to select an Order to edit by looking up the Customer Purchase Order number. This new option is located on the right-hand side on the heading screen of Enter & Edit Orders. The Select Customer PO button will allow you to search for a Customer’s Purchase Order in order to edit their Order.
  4. Field Re-named- In Enter & Edit Orders the Date Requested field has been renamed to Date to Ship.
  5. New Option-There is now a field for Requested Delivery Date in Enter & Edit Orders.

Purchase Order System

  1. New Optional Information Grid-There is now an optional information grid in Purchase Order Inquiry that will show any related sales orders. The new optional information grid is located in Purchase Order Inquiry, titled Related Sales Orders.

Inventory

  1. New Inquiry-There is now an Inquiry that will show a list of Duplicate Vendor Parts. This inquiry will help users decide if any Alternate products need to be merged. The Duplicate Vendor Parts Inquiry is located in Inventory System, Inventory File Maintenance, Duplicate & Merge Products, Duplicate Vendor Parts Inquiry
  2. New Optional Fields-The Product Inquiry – Open P.O. Information grid now has optional fields for Vendor Sales Order, Confirmed By, Confirmed Date, Confirmed Time.
  3. New Alert-The Product Inquiry quantity column’s grid tip now has an alert if there is a problem document associated with a lot. The alert will show up as a yellow icon and show the non-conformance.
  4. New Columns Added to Inquiry-The following columns have been added to the Product Usage Inquiry: Ord Min Qty, Pkg Qty, Master Pkg Qty, Bulk Pkg Qty, Primary Mfg, ARS Type, Br Stock Obj, Br Lead Time, Br Re-Order Pt, Br Max Qty Stock, Br Min PO Qty, Br Opt PO Qty, Br Def Loc, Br Stock Zone, Br Fwd Pick Min, Br Fwd Pick Max, Br Min Re-Order Pt, Br Min Max Qty to Stock, Br Max Stock Obj, Br Stock Type. The Product Usage Inquiry is located in Inventory System, Inventory Reports, Usage Reports, Product Usage Inquiry
  5. New Optional Grid-There is now a 12 Month Usage optional fieldset in Product Inquiry Expert.

Accounts Receivable

  1. New Inquiry-There is now an Inquiry that will show Customers that have similar names in The Business Edge. This inquiry will help users decide if any Customers need to be merged. The Customer Similar Names Inquiry is located in Accounts Receivable System, A/R File Maintenance, Customer Misc. Maintenance, Merge Customers & Salespeople, Customer Similar Names Inquiry
  2. New Option- There is now the ability to drill into addresses and edit them after the creation. Addresses that do not validate can be assigned incorrect sales tax values. The Address Validation Override Inquiry is located in Accounts Receivable System, Accounts Receivable Reports, Customer Lists & Labels, Customer Address Inquiries, Address Validation Override Inquiry. This is used in conjunction with the Avalara connection.
  3. New Columns Added to Report-The Salesperson Overview report now has columns for Invoices, Lines, Credit Memos, Manager, Territory and each line can now be drilled in on to view invoices that are in the selected date range. The Salesperson Overview report is located in Accounts Receivable System, Accounts Receivable Reports, Sales Journals, By Salesperson, Salesperson Overview
  4. New System-There is now a system for Salesperson Goals. This is located in Accounts Receivable System, A/R File Maintenance, Salesperson Maintenance System, Salesperson Goal System, Enter & Edit Salesperson Goals. There are options for Importing Salesperson Goals as well as a Salesperson Goal Inquiry.
  5. New Columns Added to Report-The Create Invoices from Expedited list now has columns for Shipper, Tracking Number, Shipper, Cust Pays Frt?, Comments, BOL number, Freight Amt, Weight and Packages. The Create Invoices from Expedited list is located in Accounts Receivable System, A/R Invoice Routines, Create Invoices from Expedited List.
  6. New Columns Added to Report- The Customer Aged analysis report now has the following columns: Original Invoice Amount, Shipper Tracking Number, Shipped, Cust Pays Frt?, Comments, BOL #, Freight Amt, Weight and Packages. The Customer Aged Analysis report is located in Accounts Receivable System, Accounts Receivable Reports, Aged Analysis Reports, Customer Aged Analysis
  7. New Option In Inquiry-The Customer Inquiry now has an option to view all Product’s Open Order Schedules. The Open Order Schedules is located in a Customer Inquiry under Additional Information/Open Order Schedules.
  8. New Option-There is now the ability to mark individual lines on a Customer bin inactive or active. The Mark Inactive/Active buttons are located in Enter/Edit Customers, Customer Bins.
  9. New Optional Information Grid-There is now an optional information grid in Invoice inquiry that will show the signature capture information on that invoice. This was previously only available on the Order level

Accounts Payable

  1. New Columns added to a report-The Vendor Invoice report now has the following columns: Amount Open, In Process, Due Date, Disc Date, Disc In Process, Disc Applied, Invoice Status, Actual Vend Inv, Freight Amt, Tax Amt, Over/Under, Amount Applied, Update Batch, Freight GL, Freight GL Desc,Tax GL, Tax GL Desc, Journal Entry, Comments, Entered By, Entered Date, Entered Time. The Vendor Invoice report is located in Accounts Payable System, Accounts Payable Reports, Vendor Invoice Reports, Vendor Invoice Report

Processing Purchase Order

  1. New Option added to Report-The Customer Inventory Class Sales Report now has the option to Summarize by Class Family and Summarize Customers. Additionally, on the right-hand side you can clear dates, run the report for TTM Comparative, Prior Month Comparative or YTD Comparative. The Customer Inventory Class Sales Report is located in Sales Analysis System, Customer Sales Analysis, More, Customer Inventory Class Sales
  2. New Option- There is now the ability to attach a product image to a PPO traveler to print if you are using our Shop Floor module. This is located in the Edit Processing PO Drawings and Attachments menu, you can now select to output traveler.

General Ledger System

  1. New Column Added to Report-The Income Statement Spreadsheet now has a column for Budget. The budgets are controlled by a system flag which must be set before the system will display the budget column on the report. The Income Statement Spreadsheet is located in General Ledger System, General Ledger Reports, Financial Reports, Income Statement Spreadsheet.
  2. New Feature-The Journal entry screen now allows you to drag and drop a file to be imported. Journal Entries are located in General Ledger System, Journal Entry System
  3. New Inquiry-There is now a Journal Entry Detail Inquiry. The Journal Entry Detail Inquiry will allow you to see the details of any Journal Entry. It is located in General Ledger System, General Ledger Reports, Journal Entry Inquiries, Journal Entry Detail Inquiry

Fastener Supply Chain Network

  1. New Optional Information Grids Added-The Lindstrom connection has two new optional information grids. In the Enter & Edit Purchase Order Detail Line in a Lindstrom Purchase Order there is now an optional grid for Lindstrom Availability and another optional grid for Lindstrom packaging and prices.
  2. New Option-There is now an option to not split Brighton Best Integration Purchase Orders when multiple Brighton Best Integration warehouses are involved.New FSCN Partner-We have a new partnership with Vertex. The Vertex product tree and the beginning of a new connection we are building with Vertex will have features similar to BBI, Stelfast, and others.
  3. New FSCN Partner-We will now integrate with the 8×8 phone system.

Utilities

  1. New Feature-There is now an option to scan into a product category. The Scan Product Category Document is located in Utilities, Image & Fax System, Scan Manager, Scan Product Documents, Scan Product Category Document
  2. New Feature-There is now an option to include inventory items in VMI and FCH uploads within an import. The VMI and FCH upload options are located in Utilities, Import File Data, Enter File Relationships, Inventory Relationships, Product Definitions, Enter Inventory Relationships
  3. New Feature-There is now the ability to select branches by name as well as branch code.
